Effective July 12, 2026

These terms apply to the Watchless site, Proof Runs, Core System, onboarding, and software downloads.

Terms of Use

Watchless helps builders capture material they are allowed to use and turn it into local working files. You remain responsible for your sources, outputs, accounts, and final decisions.

Using Watchless

You must have the right to download, record, transcribe, transform, or otherwise process every source you bring into Watchless. Do not use the product to bypass access controls, violate copyright, invade privacy, distribute unlawful material, or break a platform's terms.

You are responsible for reviewing generated transcripts, summaries, prompts, recommendations, and edits before using or publishing them.

Accounts and outside services

The Mac app may connect to software and AI providers you select, including Codex CLI, OpenAI, Claude, OpenRouter, Ollama, yt-dlp, and transcription tools. Those services have their own availability, limits, billing, and terms. Watchless does not guarantee an outside provider will remain available or accept a particular source.

Purchases and license

Prices, billing period, included updates, and service scope are shown at checkout or on the invoice. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, a Core System purchase grants one buyer a non-transferable license to install and use Watchless on Macs they control for their own work. You may not resell, sublicense, publish, or distribute the app, bundled skill, license, or private download link.

Annual access and updates continue for the purchased term. Any renewal terms will be displayed before checkout. Taxes may be added where required.

Proof Runs and onboarding

A Proof Run is a limited service using the source and project context you provide. Custom onboarding scope, timing, deliverables, and payment schedule may be set out in a separate proposal or invoice. You are responsible for timely access to source files and accurate project information.

Availability and warranties

Watchless is provided as available. Software can contain defects, outside providers can change, and automated output can be incomplete or wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watchless disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific business results, or fitness for a particular workflow.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watchless and its operator are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, source-platform actions, or decisions made from generated output. Total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected Watchless product or service during the preceding 12 months. These limits do not override rights that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product and purchase flow change. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
